Sarah Carter

Sarah Carter (October 30, 1980) is a Canadian actress.

Early life

Born in Toronto and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Carter attended Balmoral Hall School where she was a dedicated dancer and took part in various school plays, including The Wizard of Oz, in which she played Dorothy. She attended Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto.

Career

Carter appeared in the television series Wolf Lake (2001), Dark Angel (2000) and Undeclared (2001)
Carter was cast in a minor screen roles in Mindstorm (2001) (starring Eric Roberts, Michael Ironside, and Antonio Sabato Jr.), and Final Destination 2 (2003). In the HBO series, Entourage, her character drives the gang to the Sundance film festival while two of the characters vie for her attention.
Carter first appeared as a major character in a television role as Allie Bennett in Black Sash, and learned martial arts in preparation for the role. As Alicia Baker, she appeared in three episodes of Smallville.
In the film DOA: Dead or Alive, Carter portrays the character Helena Douglas, a fighter who enters a martial arts contest.
In 2006 she starred in the werewolf film Skinwalkers alongside Jason Behr.
She played the role of Zelda Sparks in Killing Zelda Sparks, with Vincent Kartheiser.
She portrayed Madeline Poe, a rookie prosecutor, in Shark.
In 2009, CBS announced Carter will be a recurring character on CSI: NY. She plays Haylen Becall, a forensic school graduate.
